Under Carpet Heating

This system is ideal for new installations, or can be installed when carpeting is being replaced. Comprising fire-retardant laminated foil mats installed between the underfelt and the carpet, this system is easy to install. Under Carpet Heating must be controlled by a thermostat and the system must be earthed in order to maximise safety.

Under Tile Heating

Tiles are a popular flooring solution because they are easy to clean, attractive and hard wearing. Under Tile Heating is installed on the concrete slab directly under the tiles. The heat build-up is rapid, resulting in lower usage costs. Insulation in the floor can help to prevent heat loss through the floor slab. An air sensor thermostat will measure the ambient temperature to maintain optimum comfort levels. A capillary sensor is recommended for bathrooms as the thermostat is mounted outside the room.

All Electronic thermostats are available with air sensors or capillary sensors in the S3000 and S2000 range.

Standard Thermostats

The S2000 Standard Thermostats are available with an air sensor or capillary sensor, these thermostats are designed for use with under floor, under carpet and under tile heating systems. Available in the S3000 and S2000 range.
